A Style of Photography

‘‘You don't take a photograph.  You ask, quietly, to borrow it.’’

Photographs make us stop and look at the world in a different way. They can make us focus on something that others can’t. We can see things happen around us that others won’t be able to see even in thousand years. With a bit of luck everyone could capture a perfect photo at the perfect timing and make others love it.

Photography has been around for a very long time and even now in 2012 it’s everywhere! People who love photography can finally share their passion online through emails, facebook, twitter and the rest of the social world by passing on their feelings worldwide instantly.

“Skill in photography is acquired by practice and not by purchase.”

Percy W. Harris

When I first read this quote I didn't realised how much true Percy's saying was! By practising the art of photography, skill is "earned" and talent is found. All that matters in the end is passion.

Something special I do love about photography, its Black and White.

Black and white it’s not suitable for every photo, but gray tones are always available to give your photo a character if is needed. Many believe that black and white photography is something of the past. Where others believe that is one of the most attractive and interesting forms of art where’s at the same time more challenging than colored ones. This is up to every taste but it does have a special place in many photographers’ hearts. Black and white photography had gone for a bit when colored photos came alive but once again has become unique and more famous than ever.

The power and beauty of photography is great and timeless. It has the ability to stop time and be turned into a real artwork, a piece of art, with a unique touch.
